ATLANTIC IMMIGRATION PILOT PROGRAM (AIPP)
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) was designed to allow Atlantic provincial governments select immigrants based on their education, work experience and ability to fill out the economic needs and skill shortages in Atlantic provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
The AIPP was discontinued in December 2021 and has now been replaced by the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) a new immigration pathway to permanent residence for skilled foreign workers and international graduates from Canadian institution who have the intent to live and work in one of Canada’s four Atlantic provinces—New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador.
